The hunt is on for an ex-Houston strip club security guard who beat a pregnant cleaning lady to death during a robbery.

According to KTRK, Maria Lucrecia was five months pregnant and working at Eclipse Gentleman's Club as a cleaning lady on Saturday afternoon when she was brutally attacked and murdered.

Authorities have said that Osvaldo Fernandez-Aguilar chocked and beat the 27-year-old to death before stealing about $1000 cash from the registers.

The Houston Chronicle noted that investigators did not find any sign of forced entry and club manager Rozbeh Sakika said that Lucrecia was insistent about unlocking the doors only for people she knew. He even recalled how she did not let him in on his first day until the owner told her that it was OK.

Lucrecia may have unlocked the door for Fernandez-Aguilar, however, because he previously worked at the club as a security guard.

The 23-year has been charged with capital murder and remains at large.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.
