The newly Oscar winning talent Jared Leto went to Kiev in show of support, that he famously gave to Ukraine, and Venezuela, during his Oscar speech.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Leto repeated those sentiments of support when 30 Seconds To Mars played in Kiev the night before visiting Kiev's Maiden Square, where as many as 100 people -- most of them anti-government protestors -- died in February in clashes with police and security forces.

The lead singer also said at the show, "And I want to let you know, I understand other bands have canceled their shows, but there was no f---ing way, no f---ing way, 30 Seconds to Mars wasn't going to be here in this beautiful city, in this great country here tonight."

On Instagram Leto also posted a picture simply captioned “Independence Square Ukraine” as he visited as well.

30 Seconds To Mars are currently on tour with dates in Russia before heading Down Under to Australia at the end of March. They will then head to Japan, Thailand, and Ecuador in April, and several other countries including South America, South Africa, Europe and Russia again at the end of July. Beginning in August, the band will co-headline the Carnivores Tour with Linkin Park and opener AFI until the end of September.
