Images of Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg filming The End of the Tour at the Mall of America. Segel will be playing author David Foster Wallace, while Eisenberg stars as Rolling Stone journalist Dave Lipsky.
The film, announced in December, is based on Lipsky’s book Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace and will be directed by The Spectacular Now’s James Ponsoldt. It follows a tour Wallace took during the height of his fame. He committed suicide in 2008.
A couple of Instagram users spotted the two actors making the movie and posted pictures and a video, notes Slate. While Eisenberg didn’t require a lot of makeup, Segel is seen wearing Wallace’s signature dandana.

There’s currently no release date for the film. Segel can currently be seen on CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, which is currently wrapping up its final season. As for Eisenberg, after he finishes this film, he’ll likely move on to the Superman and Batman movie. He’s been cast to play Lex Luthor.
