John Hamm and Zach Galifianakis are attached to star in the comedy Keeping Up With the Joneses.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, who first reported the news, the project was picked up by Fox 2000. The two stars are still in contract talks.
Keeping Up is a project that producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald have been working on for two years. The film is about a suburban couple that discover their wonderful neighbors are actually undercover agents.
Fox 2000 has tapped Greg Mottola to direct the film based off Mike Lesieur's script. Marc Resteghini is on board as an executive producer.
Mottola is best known for previously directing Superbad and Paul. Galifianakis is fresh off his comedy interview with President Barack Obama for Funny or Die's Between Two Ferns and has a small role in the upcoming Muppets Most Wanted.
Hamm will next be seen in the first part of the final Mad Men season and the films The Sound and the Fury and Million Dollar Arm.
