Juan Pablo may not have expressed his love for girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell, publicly on the live taping of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, but he had no problem making a video montage of the couple’s journey.
After a controversial season finale, the bachelor refused to tell his new lady those three coveted words: I love you. Many fans were upset and even host, Chris Harrison, became frustrated with Juan Pablo's lack of feelings.
Well, the former bachelor may have had a change of heart after he posted a cute video of pictures on Youtube titled “ADVENTURES IN LOVING YOU” with the caption: “Thanks for these INTERESTING 4 months of HIDING, now that the CHARACTER of ‘The Bachelor’ is OVER, it is time for US to live our life for REAL. Te ADORO.”
The video begins by thanking Obie Bermudez for turning the words Juan Pablo sent to him into a song – and it’s pretty darn cute.
Despite the backlash from Bachelor fans, Juan Pablo’s family has come to his defense, according to E! News.
"He didn't propose to her because I don't think you are able to propose to somebody in just a month and a half," Juan Pablo’s cousin, Rodolfo Soules commented. "He really cared for her and she was the one who gave Juan Pablo the idea of not proposing. Juan Pablo has never watched the show before, so he doesn't know how it works. So that is how he was able to find out…basically do what he really wanted to do, which was allowing him to be true to himself."
