Seeking to massively upgrade their current talent, the Oakland Raiders made a move and signed both defensive end Justin Tuck and outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley.

According to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo, Woodley's deal is worth $12 million, while Tuck's is $11 million.

Tuck's signing lessens the impact of letting Lamarr Houston hit free agency, where he was snatched up by the Chicago Bears quite quickly.

Tuck, who previously was with the New York Giants for nine seasons said, "Last week, I absolutely did not see it coming," reports The Associated Press. "I'm excited. I really am. I like the direction that this team is talking about going in, and I just want to be a part of it."

During his tenure with the Giants, Tuck had 60.5 career sacks, 20 forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. Woodley, who needs to prove he is capable of lasting a season after several shortened due to injuries, had 57 sacks during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Unfortunately, the linebacker has only had nine sacks in his previous 24 games.
