Roc Nation will manage recording star Kanye West. It represents a change for West as well as rap superstar, Jay-Z.

According to the Associated Press, Roc Nation manages some of the music industry’s best, including Rihanna, Shakira, and Timbaland. According to the LA Times, Roc Nation is a company that manages artists, publishes music, handles merchandising for tours, and deals with film and television.

West has produced Jay Z’s albums and the artists have collaborated on various recordings. In 2014, West won the Grammy for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for a song that was a collaborative effort with Jay-Z. In 2012, West and Jay-Z created “Otis,” a song that was nominated for a Grammy.

Roc Nation will add to the list of people who continue to work with Kanye West. West will continue working with DONDA as well as manager, Izvor Zivkovic. DONDA is West’s production house. It has been the force behind the technology for West’s tours. It will also be the umbrella for producing Cruel Summer, a short film. DONDA is named after his mother, Donda West.
