Musician Kate Bush will be returning to the stage after many years away from music. Bush will be performing a series of live shows in London.
She will be playing 15 dates starting in August and running through mid-September. The Before the Dawn tour will kick off at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Bush announced the news on her website and expressed how happy she was to be returning to her fans. “I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there," said Bush.
This will be the first time since 1979 that Bush will be performing live, Billboard reported. She went on tour back in support of her career launching single "Wuthering Heights."
With this single, her career exploded and she became the first British female to top the singles chart with a self-composed work. She also was the first female to have a U.K. No. 1 album.
She first entered into the music industry after she was discovered at a young age by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.
Tickets will go on sale for the tour March 28.
