Lady Gaga will be one of the main performers at the South by Southwest festival but she will also be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming event in Austin.
Gaga will be speaking next week at the event led by John Norris of Fuse. This will be taking place on March 14th at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton in Austin, Texas, Billboard reported.
This speaking engagement will be after Gaga takes the stage with her own concert.
The address will be given to Music and Platinum registrants of SXSW, this will be for the music portion of the festival, not the film festival. The music festival of SXSW will be kicking off on March 11th and ending on March 16th.
Gaga is set to kick off her fourth world tour in May called artRave: The ARTPOP Ball. The singer, whose "ARTPOP" hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year, was reportedly denied a permit to perform at the Doritos stage's original venue, spawning the Stubb's performance.
This is a busy time for Gaga who is promoting her latest album ARTPOP which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts last year. She is about to kick off her latest tour ARTPOP Ball but she will be playing her own show at SXSW before all of this occurs. The performance location had to be moved to a different venue after a permit for the performance was denied on the original stage. This created Gaga taking over the Stubb's stage at SXSW, Complex.
