The beautiful and serenading indie music queen, Lana Del Rey, has just released the newest dates for her 2014 tour for her newest album, Ultraviolence. The indie star, who is known for her hit songs, “Summertime Sadness” and “Young and Beautiful,”(from the 2013 film The Great Gatsby) will be basing her tour around her upcoming Coachella performances in April.
Del Rey’s website stated that tickets for her newly released dates will go on sale this weekend starting Friday. Besides her performance at the famous Coachella festival, the new dates for her tour have her starting out in Grand Prairie, Texas on April 23 and ending in Seattle, Washington on May 27 at the WaMu Theatre.
Radio.com reported that Del Rey will also release her new album Ultraviolence in May and that she will be collaborating with many well known artists such as, The Black Keys. On her opinion of her album shetweeted, “It is absolutely gorgeous – darker then the first – so dark it’s almost unlistenable and wrong.”
Fans of the indie queen will be waiting to hear what is so dark and mysterious about her new album and of course, her upcoming tour across the nation.
