Lena Dunham surely had a weekend for the books. Not only did she get to host NBC’s Saturday Night Live for the first time, but it’s now being revealed she went on a double date with President Obama and the First Lady.
Dunham’s boyfriend, Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff, posted a photo of the foursome on his Instagram page, declaring it was a “really sick double date.”
The president and his wife are dressed casually and smiling widely alongside the Girls creator and the musician, who started dating in 2012.
However, the double date likely didn’t happen this weekend. E! Online reports it might’ve been taken this past summer, when the duo visited the White House.
They were there in July, when Antonoff’s band performed at the Fourth of July barbecue. Dunham hasn’t hidden her support for President Obama or the democratic party, and she was involved with his re-election campaign.
Meanwhile, Dunham tweeted a molestation joke over the weekend but quickly deleted it and apologized.
