Lindsay Lohan sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview that touched upon her life after rehab, being in New York, her new documentary series for OWN, and much more.

According to People, the 27-year-old actress told Ellen that she is content with her life in New York, surrounded by friends who inspire her to work and continue on her road to sobriety.

“I don't have as much anger anymore," she said. "I have more peace in my life."
She added, “When I was here in L.A., I got very lonely. Back in New York and being around a lot of friends who are creative, I realize how happy I am doing that.”

Lohan noted that she is currently working on a new film for Lionsgate, as well as collaborating with her brother on a new fashion app called “Spotted Friend”, which she says is “like Shazam, but for clothing.”

She spoke to Ellen about her new OWN series, which she states is a docu-series and not a reality show, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“It’s not scripted or anything like that….so it’s pretty raw. It’s very honest,” she said. “It was scary but probably one of the best things I’ve allowed myself to do,” she went on to say.
