Malaysia Airlines has made the saddening statement that the passengers of the missing flight 370 did not make it when the airplane landed in a remote area in the Indian Ocean.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said, “This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites. It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean,” according to ABC news .
The airline offered its condolences, and promised that the ongoing investigation would continue in the search for answers which are still in the air, according to Gulf News.
Malaysia flight 370 went missing on March 8, one hour after taking off.
Family members have been on edge since the airline announced that the flight had gone missing. Most family member’s blamed the airline for not revealing this information in a timely manner.
Twelve countries have been included in the search. Among the missing are two infants.
