The first trailer for Born Again has hit the web, giving audiences a preview of the new film from Once director John Carney.

Born Again was showed at the Toronto International Film Festival as Can A Song Save Your Life? and The Weinstein Company picked it up for distribution. The distributor agreed to change the film’s title last week, notes Deadline.

The movie stars Mark Ruffalo as a disgraced former record executive. He tries to revive his career after discovering Keira Knightley as a hopeful singer/guitarist who just broke up with her rock star boyfriend, played by Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. Also starring is Levine’s fellow Voice judge Cee Lo Green, Hailee Steinfeld and Catherine Keener.

It earned positive reviews out of TIFF and impressed TWC so much that it spent $7 million to acquire it. TWC will be starting the film’s limited release on July 4.

“This movie has been an absolute joy to work on and we are thrilled to have the absolute perfect distributor in The Weinstein Company join us on the journey,” producer Anthony Bregman of Likely Story said in a statement in September.
