Mark Wahlberg is discussing his recent role in the upcoming fourth installment in the Transformers franchise. Wahlberg recently discussed the film at CinemaCon on Monday night.

Wahlberg made a bold statement at the event saying that Transformers: Age of Extinction would be the biggest movie to arrive in theaters in 2014.

The film was featured at Paramounts presentation during CinemaCon. Paramount featured the upcoming Transformers film along with the reboot of the popular characters from the Ninja Turtles films, which is also being overseen by Michael Bay, Variety reported.

The actor also made a promise to fans at the presentation. "For moviegoers all over the world, I guarantee this will take it up a notch," said Wahlberg.

He also explained that he had intense conversation withs Michael Bay about this being a stand alone film in theTransformers franchise, The Huffington Post added.

""Michael promised me it would be a very different, stand-alone movie, which it absolutely is, It is bigger and better than the other three (films) combined. This will be the biggest movie of 2014," said Wahlberg.

Wahlberg stars in the film along with Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer.
