Martina McBride is releasing an album on April 8, and one of the songs on it features Kelly Clarkson.

McBride was signed to RCA Nashville in 1991, and made her debut the following year as a neo-traditionalist country singer with the single, "The Time Has Come." McBride has won the Country Music Association's "Female Vocalist of the Year" award four times and the Academy of Country Music's "Top Female Vocalist" award three times.

The song is called “In the Basement” and was originally sung by Etta James and her friend Sugar Pie Desanto in 1966.

According to Glamour, it is an upbeat song that is about celebrating strong, independent women who are taking a stand in the world.

The album will have 12 songs which include covers of soul and R&B songs and the album is entitled “Everlasting.” On the Album, there is also a duet with Gavin Degraw as well according to Business Standard.
