Two men in Dallas have been arrested after admitting they raped a deaf teenager.

According to Fox 8, Jarvis Fisher, 19, admitted to authorities that he and Lucas Martin, 20, sexually assaulted a hearing impaired 13-year-old girl in Fisher’s home while his wheelchair bound mother was in the house.

According to police reports, the girl met Martin and Fisher at a park and communicated with them through text messages. When the men asked the girl to have sex with them, she declined, but reportedly willingly went with them to Fisher’s house where they raped her.

During the incident, the girl dropped her phone, but police found it after Fisher’s mother, Lola Wrigley, gave them permission to search the home.

Fisher’s mother has been outspoken about the incident.

Lola Wrigley, 60, has stated that she was home at the time of the assault.

“Don’t you think I would’ve heard it, if she would’ve screamed. I would’ve heard it. I can’t walk; I’m not deaf,” Wrigley said, according to CBS DFW.

Wrigley has stated that because of her health problems, which have left her in the wheelchair, her son cooks for her, bathes, and does a multitude of other things for her. However, she has stated that Fisher has fallen in with a bad crowd and given him warnings that his life could go on a downward spiral.

“I said Jarvis, if you get hurt out in the field… I can’t come see you. I said if you get shot and you breathe your last breath man, I can’t come out there and hug you. And if you go to jail, how am I gonna come down there and I’m in this wheel chair. You supposed to take care of me,” Wrigley stated.

Wrigley has stated that she has sympathy for the hearing impaired girl’s mother and hopes the woman can understand how terribly she feels as well. She has also stated how incredibly hurt she is that the teenage victim’s mother has wished her son dead, despite her son’s admission that he raped a child.

Fisher and Martin have been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
