A Michigan woman who was dead for six years has been found in the back seat of a car parked in her garage in Pontiac, Michigan.

For the six years Pia Farrenkopf was dead, her bills were paid and her grass was cut. No one ever suspected anything was wrong. Her body was finally found when someone was sent to check on the property when the home fell into foreclosure after the money she had in her account ran out.

According to Yahoo! News, the woman became unemployed in 2008 and had her bills set up to be automatically withdrawn from her bank account.

"It is kind of the perfect storm for a mysterious set of circumstance and a challenge because of the extreme degradation of the body," said Oakland County Sheriff, Michael Bouchard.

Although the woman has not been specifically identified as the Michigan homeowner, authorities believe she is the woman who stopped working in 2008.

Neighbors mentioned that Farrenkopf often traveled and that when she had not been seen for a period of time, they suspected she had moved away.

"Nobody came over there to check on the lady. It's weird. And it's actually scary," said a neighbor.

NY Daily News noted that a mysterious vote was placed under the woman's name in 2010. Authorities are still investigating the cause of death and are still clueless as to how a dead woman could cast a vote.
