Morrissey's has plans to release a new album titled, World Peace is None of Your Business. This is the first new album from the former Smiths frontman in over five years.
Morrissey announced the news on his online zine True to You.
His blog post online explains that Morrissey is beyond excited about this record which will feature 12 new songs.
The album title is a reflection about the need for peace but is not the positive take that fans might have thought Morrissey would take when naming this album.
Billboard added that the upcoming album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli who has worked with The White Stripes and My Morning Jacket.
Rolling Stone reported that the album will be coming out in either late June or early July.
The album will be released by Harvest Records, which is a division of Capitol records.
Fans have been waiting for a new record for Morrissey for a while but the singer has publicly explained that he would not do a self-release record and that he was waiting for the right record deal.
