A babysitter shook a two-year-old New Jersey toddler to death and then played for two hours on Facebook before calling 911.

According to the New York Daily News, Sheila Polanski pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges of aggravated manslaughter and admitted to shaking and slamming little Madeline McHenry because she was angry with her.

After she rendered the child unconscious, Polanski decided to play the Facebook game Yo-ville for hours before calling for help.

When paramedics were finally notified they rushed McHenry to an area hospital, but she died from her injuries two days later.

The Daily Mail noted that the 36-year-old sitter gave authorities excuses for what she did to the child and said that she was very stressed out because she had gotten evicted from her apartment and that the girl was whining when she was watching her on July 5, 2011.

Polanski had initially faced murder charges and life in prison. By pleading guilty to the lesser charge she is facing 12 years behind bars.
