Nicole Richie is heading back to reality television, this time with #CandidlyNicole, a new show based on her popular Twitter feed and her online AOL show.

Vh1 has already ordered eight episodes and the first will debut on July 17, reports Deadline, which first confirmed the news. The network also closed a development deal with Richie's production shingle, Honey Child.

#CandidlyNicole will expand on her popular style AOL show, which in turn was inspired by her Twitter page. She has over 4.35 million followers, who Vh1 hopes will tune in for the show.

“Nicole’s sharp, acerbic sense of humor and broad audience appeal make ‘#CandidlyNicole’ a perfect fit for the VH1 brand,” Susan Levison, VH1’s EVP of original programming & development, said in a statement, notes Variety. “Viewers will enjoy her unique point of view and earnest look at pop culture as well as her fearless exploration of anything and everything taboo.”

Richie made her mark on reality television with Paris Hilton on Fox’s The Simple Life first. Since then, she has become a popular figure in the fashion world and a successful author. She has also appeared on NBC’s Fashion Star.
