The multimillionaire du Pont heir avoided jail time for the horrendous crime of raping his three-year-old daughter, but now his ex-wife is suing him for sexually abusing the girl and their son.

According to the New York Daily News, records show that Robert H. Richards IV, heir to the chemical empire, was given eight years probation and ordered to seek treatment after being convicted of fourth-degree rape in 2008.

The Detroit Free Press noted that Tracy Richards has filed a lawsuit seeking compensatory and punitive damages for the abuse after the child rapist received such a lenient sentence.

The 47-year-old was offered a plea deal to a single count of fourth-degree rape, which carries no mandatory sentence and avoided any time behind bars.

The sickening abuse of his daughter, who is now 11, began in 2005. Richards admitted during a lie-detector test that he raped her.

The lawsuit alleges that while taking another polygraph test in 2010, he allegedly told the examiner that he also began sexually abusing his son that same year when the boy was just 19 months old.

The attorney for the pedophile’s former wife said that the lawsuit brought against him is the first step in seeking justice.
