Paramount executives are taking a moment to discuss the movie, Noah.

Some controversy has surrounded the movie from filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. Conservatives have claimed that the film isn’t close enough to the Old Testament. Paramount vice-chairman Rob Moore, told the Associated Press, “It has been a very interesting journey. It's been highly chronicled along the way, much of which was based upon either speculation or hearsay or old information."

Before filming, Paramount spoke to religious leaders before the movie was shot. After many screenings and much discussion over the final cut of the movie, the movie is a topic of discussion among fans. Paramount was asked to add a disclaimer to their advertising for the film, but in the end, Moore decided that “artistic license” had been taken.

Filmmaker Darren Aronofsky said that the subject matter on which Noah was based was of great interest to him for some time. He said that the movie, Noah, is for “everybody.” Noah stars Mel Gibson. According to Indie Wire, the movie features Aronofsky’s striking visuals with the story taken from the Bible.
