Two parents were discovered at an Ohio McDonald's having overdosed on heroin while their two kids were nearby in the fast food restaurant's play area.

The parents, Tamica Lynn Jeffers and Robert Paul Palmer, are from Indiana. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports they are being charged with child-endangerment and currently sit in the Hamilton County jail. They have an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl.

They were both discovered to be unresponsive at the McDonald's but only 33-year-old Jeffers had to go to the hospital as she was not breathing when found by police. She is currently being held on a $6,000 bond, while Palmer's is set at $10,000.

Green Township police have said that the two had taken "life-threatening overdoses" of heroin, according to The Associated Press. Though they have admitted to taking the drug at the McDonald's they have pleaded not guilty.

If Palmer gets his bond paid, the Judge, Megan Shanahan, has told him he must stay away from his two children for the time being.
