20th Century Fox and Blue Sky studios have released the first teaser for Peanuts, which brings Charles M. Schulz’s iconic characters to the big screen. Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock all get appearances in the minute-long video.

The video starts with a 2001 parody, but reveals that the earth is really Charlie Brown’s perfectly round head. Snoopy comes in to disturb a speech Chuck (as Peppermint Patty calls him) is clearly trying to give. “Good grief,” Charlie Brown says.

This is actually the first time Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang have been on the big screen since 1980’s Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!).

“It's long overdue,” producer Craig Schulz, one of Schulz’s sons, told USA Today Monday. “The fans have been asking for a long time, but we held off until the time was right.”

Although Schulz died in 2000, the comic strip is still printed nationwide and ABC still airs the TV specials every year. Craig Schulz said that he’s been careful about how the characters are used, but this was the right time. Craig’s son Bryan co-wrote the film, along with Cornelius Uliano. “With my father's work this is three generation of Shulzes on this film,” Craig said.

The Peanuts film is being produced by Blue Sky, which was also responsible for the Ice Age films and Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who!. Paul Feig is also producing. Feig assured fans that there will not be any modern references to take away from the characters’ charms. “Snoopy will not be rapping, no one will be twerking, we're in good hands,” he told USA Today.

Peanuts opens on Nov. 6, 2015 and will be shown in 3D.
