One of the world’s most popular jam bands, Phish, will be heading out this summer for another tour.
Phish fans don’t need a new record in order flock to concert venues to enjoy the Vermont native, three decade old band. This summer will bring 26 tour dates—one in April while the bulk of the dates are throughout July and August, as reported by Rolling Stone
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 26th will kick off the tour but Phish will start the majority of touring with a three-night run in Saratoga Springs, according to The Post Standard
Frontman Trey Anastasio, told Rolling Stone that the summer brings the most convenient time for touring. "The whole gang goes on tour, so there's maybe 10 kids," he said. "It's like a big caravan, and we all go out in the summer because right now that's what works for us. It's really fun – everybody's backstage."
Tickets will be available for purchase on March 27th which will include a free MP3 download of a concert from the LivePhish.com website.
