Famed photographer Terry Richardson is responding to sexual assault allegations made against him by models like Alise Shoemaker and Charlotte Waters.

This isn’t the first time models have spoken out about his alleged questionable behavior, and this time it wasn’t only Shoemaker and Waters who spoke out but many who wished to remain anonymous.

In a letter, Richardson, who has shot everyone from Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce and Kate Upton to Rihanna, said he chose to ignore the first round of rumors that surfaced years ago but now he is forced to defend himself.

“I chose to primarily ignore a cycle of Internet gossip and false accusations against me . . . I felt that to dignify them with a response was a betrayal of my work and my character,” he said in a letter about the first allegations that popped up, Page Six reports.

He added, “When these allegations resurfaced over the past few months, they seemed especially vicious and distorted . . . becoming nothing more than an emotionally-charged witch hunt.”

Richardson also called the new round of claims “hate-filled and libelous tales.”

As we previously reported Shoemaker said of Richardson, “I think almost every model has had an encounter with him, whether it be good or bad. I would say the majority are complaints.”

When Waters took her complaints to the police, she was told no legal punishment would come of it because she didn’t resist to him verbally.
