Robin Thicke was seen without his wedding ring in New York, possibly finally accepting that his marriage to Paula Patton is finally over. However, he still spoke about loving family and forgiveness during his show at Madison Square Garden Friday night.
Thicke was seen talking with fans in New York before the show, notes Us Weekly. He was all smiles and was clearly not wearing his wedding ring.
Still, TMZ reports that during the MSG show, Thicke still gave a speech about family, love and being able to forgive. “We gotta learn to forgive each other, learn to love each other ... no matter who it is in your family or relationship,” he said. “‘Cause you're always gonna need your friends and family.”
Patton and Ticke, who had been married since 2005, announced their separation last month. Still, it didn’t sound like Thicke was ready to give up on Patton, since he told a fan he still loves her during his Sunday show in Atlantic City, reports E! News.
That night, he gave another speech before he did a cover of “Let’s Get Together.” He told the crowd not to stop believing to never stop loving.
“And even if it is over, make sure you treat each other right. Treat your family right,” the “Blurred Lines” singer said. “Take care of your mom, take care of your kids and good things will come to you. Just keep believing that God is good.”
