Universal Picture recently announced that for their 2015 film Everest, Sam Worthington and Robin Wright will be working side-by-side. The two talented actors will portray characters from real life, disastrous events that took place at the famous mountain.
Deadline stated that Wright and Worthington will join other actors, Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emily Watson and John Henderson for the film.
The Hollywood Reporter described the actors’ roles in the film as it states Wright will play Brolin’s character’s wife in the film who is named Peach. As for Worthington, he will be playing Guy Cotter, who is a mountain scaling expert. The film’s main plot will be the true story of two expeditions to Mount Everest which both ended in disaster due to fierce snow storms.
The original release date for the film was in Feb. 2015 but has recently been delayed till Sept. 2015.
