San Francisco, Calif. area radios station have been playing Nelly’s 2002 hit “Hot in Herre” on a repeated loop since around 3pm on Friday.

The stations Latino Mix, 105.7 in Santa Clara and 100.7 in San Rafael put the song on repeat as part of a publicity stunt to promote their new format – Latino Mix 105.7 will now be Hot 105.7.

According to SFGate, it seemed to have worked because #Nelly1057 started trending on Friday night on Twitter.

Apparently playing one song on a loop is a tradition when it comes to relaunching the format of radio stations, as it’s happened before many times.

USA Today reports in Albuquerque, Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" played on a loop for four days. They also did it in 1992 when they changed Bay Area’s 107.7 to WiLD 94.9 and played “Wild Thing” by Tone Loc for three days.

Here are some examples of responses to the loop on Twitter, which indicates that as of Monday morning, it’s still playing.
