Starbucks announced that it will be expanding its evening menu and even including alcoholic beverages, unfortunately for those living in Canada, they are not included.

As previously reported, the Washington-based company announced Starbucks Evenings, which will be available after 4 p.m., in an effort to draw more customers in the later hours.

The coffee shops will begin offering alcoholic drinks and new menu items like truffle mac n' cheese. But only Starbucks in Chicago, Atlanta, Portland, Los Angeles and Seattle will see the new menu right away. The rollout will be slow and take place over several years for the rest of the country.

Not all locations will get these new changes, and neither will, it seems, Canada, reports CTV News. In an email, spokeswoman Carly Suppa said, "At the time there are no plans to include Canada."

They will be getting the signature tea blend Teavana Oprah Chai, though.

Starbucks purchased the tea shop chain Teavana recently. U.S. locations will likely get them too, as CEO Howard Schultz has previously indicated he would like to increase the popularity of tea in the states.
