Taylor Swift has reclaimed the top spot for the highest-paid musician of 2013 in Billboard's annual list after earning nearly $40 million.
Swift earned $39.7 million thanks mostly to six months of tours on top of album sales, physical and digital, according to Billboard. That doesn't even count sponsorships, which could likely boost her annual earnings for last year even higher.
In the second spot was fellow country singer Kenny Chesney who earned a reported $32.96 million again thanks heavily to touring and his 2013 album Life On a Rock.
Justin Timberlake was in third place with $31.5 million in earnings thanks to being just about everywhere it seems and releasing not one, but two albums. Touring on his own and with Jay Z certainly didn't hurt either.
The rest of the top five are Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones, reports BBC News. The former made about $29.44 million and the Rolling Stones earned $26.23 million.
In sixth place was Beyonce with $24.2 million, followed by Maroon 5, who earned $22.3 million. Luke Bryan ($22.1 million), Pink (20 million) and Fleetwood Mac (19 million) round out the top 10.
Billboard took into account numbers from Nielsen SoundScan, Nielsen BDS, Billboard Boxscore and 34 percent of the revenue from tours to calculate their earnings for the year.
