When a Connecticut man left his two-year-old daughter in the car alone with the engine running, she put the vehicle in drive and smacked into two other cars.

According to the Associated Press, West Hartford Police arrested Oscar Chicas on Saturday afternoon after his daughter hit two parked cars when he left her alone inside his idling car. The 33-year-old was charged with risk of injury to a minor.

Officials said that the toddler was able to put the car in drive and when it inched forward it struck the other cars, resulting in minor damage.

The child was not injured in the accident because she did not touch the pedals and therefore the car was traveling at such a low speed.

FOX CT reported that the 33-year-old Chicas, was found working on a disabled vehicle nearby with his brother when the incident occurred. When he was taken into custody by authorities, the girl was turned over to her uncle.
