Chris Daughtry has been dominating the charts with his latest album, Baptized and has come a long way since his days as a contestant on American Idol. Daughtry rose to fame as being one of the first rock ‘n’ roll artists to play America during Idol and the audience loved it.

Now with a brand new album and a hit single taking over the rock and pop charts, Daughtry is out to prove that his musical sound and fan base are stronger than ever. The first single off of Baptized was “Waiting for Superman” and showed a new direction for Daughtry. Even though the styling of the instrumentals seemed more modern, Daughtry’s classic vocal range remained the same and this single became a huge fan favorite. “Waiting for Superman” has now been added to the likes of “Home” and “No Surprise” as instant fan favorites.
