A new video shows controversial Toronto mayor, Rob Ford, clearly drunk outside of City Hall on Saturday night. He was wearing a green beaded necklace for St. Patrick’s Day in the video, where he also swore, stumbled and slurred his words in public.
Ford stood in a group of men who were waiting for a taxi when they were approached by a teenager from Mississauga and her mother, who told him he was “awesome.”
In the video, posted by CTV Toronto, he yelled, “You f---n' idiot” loudly as the men around him laugh.
On Sunday, he attended the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and he was asked about the video, which took place the night before.
“Give me a break, guys,” he said, When asked if he was drinking he said, “I’m here, right? Are you serious? Were you drinking last night? You never drink, right? You guys don’t drink.”
The Toronto Star reports he was seen at his office in City Hall on Saturday night, where he said he was making phone calls.
This latest incident comes about a year after Ford was caught smoking crack in a video. Despite all of his controversies, he still plans to run for re-election.
