Twitter's music app for iOS devices has shut down and is no longer available in the App Store.
The Verge reports that Twitter has announced that its #Music app is being pulled from the App Store.
Later this afternoon, we will be removing Twitter #music from the App Store. If you have the app, it will continue to work until April 18.

The app was aimed at introducing users to new music and artists and creating a conversation through Twitter about new discovered music.
Twitter created the app after purchasing the music service We Are Hunted. Head of music, Kevin Thau, worked to create the app. It was able to work with other music services like Spotify and Rdio.
All Things D reports that one week after its launch, Thau left Twitter #Music to work on a new startup program called "Jelly" with Twitter co-creator Biz Stone. Not much is known regarding the new startup.
Due to competition from other apps and failure to meet popularity expectations, Twitter started making plans to shut down the music service last October.
Twitter #Music will no longer be available in the App Store. Users who have already downloaded it will be able to access it until April 18.
Twitter told fans that the company will continue to try to find ways to incorporate music within Twitter.
We continue to experiment with new ways to bring you great content based on the music activity we see every day on Twitter.
