The nephew of model and actor Tyson Beckford has been given an upgraded murder charge from a February crash that left one man dead.

According to the New York Daily News, prosecutors slapped Beckford’s nephew, Domonic Whilby, with the upgraded charge of second-degree murder from the drunken-fueled crash that killed MTA bus driver William Pena.

Whilby and his famous uncle were drinking at a party for model Shanina Shaik, when prosecutors say the 23-year-old got a little too frisky with some female guest at the celebrity bash and was thrown out.

He then allegedly stole a delivery truck and moments later hit a city bus, killing Pena and injuring four others, the GA Daily News reported.

Whilby pleaded not guilty to the charges on Wednesday and is being held without bail.

Beckford reportedly feels bad because he did not notice that his nephew had gotten kicked out that night. The male model was willing to let Whilby stay with him if bail was granted.
