"Brooklyn Nights," a previously unreleased Lady Gaga track has surfaced, and many are calling it her best song yet.
According to Digital Spy the anthemic pop ballad was written in 2010 for Gaga's third album Artpop but was left out of the fifteen song track list. A 30 second sample of the track was released earlier this year.
The leak came from the Youtube of TechHAUS, which is branded as "the technical division of the Haus of Gaga."
"Brooklyn Nights" is not the only Artpop castaway. According to Rolling Stone the singer said in her South by Southwest keyote address that Artpop has an entire second act that she plans on keeping to herself for the foreseeable future. "Sometimes it's just fun to have records that me and my friends listen to. We love it and we don’t care what anybody else thinks. Maybe someday we'll release them" she said.
Gaga also stood by her controversial vomitous performance at the festival saying, "It was just exciting seeing people talking about performance art on the Internet and debating about whether it's art or not. We really just did it because we believe in the performance and we believe in what it meant to the song ['Swine']."
