A US Airways flight was aborted after a tire blew out on Thursday evening at the Philadelphia International Airport.

The airline says that no one appears to have been injured following the abrupt stop, reports CNN. The Philadelphia fire department disputed that report, saying there was one minor injury.

After the tire blew on the Airbus A320, the 154 people on board the flight evacuated onto the runway. One passenger tweeted, "So my plane just crashed."

According to Philly.com, Flight 1702 was scheduled to depart the airport for Fort Lauderdale until the nose gear blew out, causing the plane to pitch forward.

Airport spokeswoman Victoria Lupica said that the airport wasn't dealing with delays, though one runway had to be temporarily closed and some flights hadn't yet been able to take off.

She noted, "Our main concern is the safety and security of the passengers on the plane, and also making sure that we move that aircraft safely to an area where it can be examined."
