Actors Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau are set to appear onscreen together in the upcoming crime thriller Term Life.
As the AV Club notes, the film will mark their seventh appearance onscreen in the same film, following 2009's Couples Retreat.
Yahoo News reports that the film stars Vaughn as a thief who plans heists that ends up on the lam with his daughter, played by Hailee Steinfeld of True Grit, pursued by cops, hit men, and mob bosses. He takes out a life insurance policy so he might leave something to his daughter, but it doesn't take effect for 21 days.
Favreau's addition to the film is a new revelation, and there's no word yet on what role he'll be taking on. It seems safe to assume he'll share some considerable screen time with Vaughn, since they have such an affinity for acting together. It's interesting to note that there's no word on this being a comedic effort, which is out of ordinary for the duo.
Production for the Universal film began on March 1, and Vaughn, Micah Mason Victoria Vaughn and Kevin Frakes are producing with Raj Brinder Singh exec producing. Peter Billingsley directs, his second time helming a feature film after Couples Retreat.
No word yet on exactly when the film will hit theaters, other than sometime in 2015.
