Wal-Mart slashed the prices on Apple’s iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and Samsung’s Galaxy S4 on Wednesday.

According to CNN Money, the reduced prices are $49 for the Galaxy S4, with a two-year contract, $119 for the iPhone 5s, down from $149 and $29 for the 5c, down from $45.

The company is also running a promotion for customers who purchase a Samsung phone between March 9 and March 22 to receive a $50 Wal-Mart gift card if they sign a two-year contract.

In addition, TechnoBuffalo has reported that the retail giant said consumers can still trade in their current device for as much as $300 toward a new phone. Wal-Mart will then issue a gift card with the balance of the difference that can be used in its stores or at any Sam’s Club location.

Wal-Mart is thought to be dropping the prices of the Galaxy S4 to prepare for the launch of the Galaxy S5, which will hit the shelves in April. The move is also causing speculation that the latest iPhone will be launched around the same time, rather than in the fall.
