Lindsay Lohan made a surprising claim on Sunday night’s new episode of her OWN docu-series Lindsay, telling her wellness coach A.J. that she was up for a role in The Avengers.
Lohan was complaining that her management team does not “push” for her like they should, and therefore she gets overlooked.
MTV News notes Lohan, 27, complained that as a result of her manager not pushing, an “unknown” was cast in the part she wanted in one of the Marvel movies. This leads everyone to think, who exactly was she talking about?
The women leads in The Avengers series are certainly not unknown - Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow – but she could have been talking about How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders, who played Maria Hill, Nick Fury's ( played by Samuel L. Jackson) second in command.
It would be hard to believe that she would call Smulders an unknown actress though, as she demonstrated her love for HIMYM on a recent episode of Fuse TV’s Billy on the Street, calling it her “favorite show.”
