Police in New Jersey said that a parking dispute at a busy shopping mall turned violent when one woman almost bit off the finger of another woman.
According to WPVI, police responded late Saturday afternoon to the Nordstrom's parking lot of the Cherry Hill Mall for a report of a parking dispute between two motorists.
An argument over a parking space escalated and two women allegedly approached the victim and that’s when her finger was bitten so badly that it was almost severed.
The 42-year-old victim was then transported to an area hospital and treated for her injuries.
Authorities still need the public’s help identifying the attackers in the aggravated assault.
The Courier-Post noted that Cherry Hill police have released a surveillance photo of one woman they believe was involved and that she was possibly driving an older-model Audi sedan, dark in color.
Anyone who witnessed the confrontation in the parking lot or has any information about the suspect is asked to contact police.
