A woman throws a tantrum and resorts to arson after her boyfriend said no to dessert.
Daily Mail reports that at around 12:30 am this Sunday, a woman in Jacksonville, Florida set her boyfriend’s car on fire after he refused to purchase a McFlurry for her.
Witnesses say that the couple was “going at it . . . She was saying she wanted this and wanted that, and she wanted either a McFlurry or an ice cream . . . and he was not in for it. Then he was yelling at her saying he’s not going to do it.” According to witnesses, it was at this point that the woman began to threaten her boyfriend, saying “I’m going to blow it up.”
The woman got the keys to her boyfriend’s 1994 El Dorado, soaked the vehicle in gasoline, and lit a match, Orlando Sentinel reports.
Witness Sabryna Maré says “she got gasoline from who knows where. Then she poured everything all over [the car] and the next thing you know there was a match and it was up in flames.”
The woman left the parking lot and the police are still searching for her.
It was one second here, one second there, gone. Later we saw the car parked on the side of Beach Boulevard.”
Daily Mail adds that the license plate for the El Dorado did not match the vehicle and the owner disappeared after the flames were put out.
