Zac Efron’s friends are now reportedly worried that the That Awkward Moment actor has relapsed. They do not believe that he went all the way to Los Angeles’ Skid Row for sushi and instead think he went there for drugs.

The story goes that Efron was punched by a homeless man late Sunday night while he and his bodyguard were headed to a sushi restaurant. They ran out of gas and were waiting for help. While there, they threw a bottle out their car window. A group of three men thought Efron was aiming at them, so they approached and the fight broke out, with one homeless man punching Efron. The bodyguard later tried to clear up the story, saying that Efron was actually stabbed.

Despite all that, one big question remains - what was Efron doing in Skid Row? His friends told TMZ that they’re “worried sick” about him, since he did go to rehab for cocaine addiction. They believe that Efron has relapsed and was not going there for sushi. TMZ has also reported that the ‘bodyguard’ is a convicted drug dealer.

“Zac's a loner,” one of these friends was quoted as saying. “He goes out rarely and the idea of him driving for miles to go to some sushi restaurant in downtown L.A. after midnight is preposterous.”

An LAPD spokesperson told People that no one was arrested in the alleged altercation and a rep for the actor has not commented on the situation.
