Gold Circle Films, the studio that produced the smash hit Pitch Perfect, has come on board to the sci-fi feature Snowfall, along with producers Benderspink and Evan Astrowsky.
Benderspink is known for producing breakout hits such as, We’re the Millers, Ride Along and Zombeavers.
Variety reported that Clark Baker is directing the project which has been written by Brooks Elms and Glenn Sanders
Snowfall will tell the story of a group of Chicago residents who are trapped on the El Train during a massive blizzard. The train is eventually discovered but the passengers learn that the storm was a cover for an alien invasion.
Guy Danella will be working on the project Gold Circle.
The New York Daily News added that Gold Circle Films is also moving forward with Pitch Perfect 2 which will be directed by Elizabeth Banks. The first pictures from the set were tweeted out be leading lady Rebel Wilson with the caption, "1st day of PP2 rehearsal!"
