Popular sports radio host Dan Patrick has been picked to host a sports version of Jeopardy!, appropriately titled Sports Jeopardy!. The series will be distributed on Sony’s Crackle digital streaming network.
Sports Jeopardy! was announced by Sony Pictures on Tuesday, reports The Associated Press. Like all Crackle programs, it will be available on the Crackle apps on PlayStation, Xbox, Apple TV and Roku.
According to Sporting News, there will also be an interactive element, where viewers get to play the game as well.
There is also a Rock ‘n’ Roll Jeopardy!, which is being hosted by Survivor host Jeff Probst.
Patrick currently hosts The Dan Patrick Show and also does NBC’s Football Night In America show before each Sunday Night Football game. As for Jeopardy!, Alex Trebek still hosts the classic syndicated TV version, in which contestants have to give the proper question that matches the given answer.
Crackle is best known as the home of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which was just renewed for four more seasons.
