The Black Keys have released their new single, “Turn Blue.” The music clip showed up on You Tube in advance of the release of their new album with the same name.
"In the dead of the night I start to lose control/ But I still carry the weight like I've always done before. I really don't think you know that could be hell below, below/ I really do hope you know that could be hell below," Dan Auerbach sings on the track, according to MTV.
According to Rolling Stone, the Turn Blue album was recorded in Los Angeles, Michigan, and in Auerbach’s studio in Nashville. Other songs on Turn Blue include “Weight of Love,” “Fever,” “Bullet in the Brain,” and “In Our Prime.” The album is co-produced by Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton.
The breakthrough effort from The Black Keys was the album, Brothers. Brothers won three Grammy Awards including honors for Best Alternative Music Album.
