Amid the rumors of sequels Disney is working on, including Frozen, composer Henry Jackman all but stated a sequel to the successful Wreck-It Ralph is in pre-production.

According to an interview with Collider Jackman let out of the bag that a sequel is in the early stages of development for a sequel to the videogame badguy-turned-goodguy film. The British composer when asked if he had heard about a sequel answered, “I did, to be honest with you. I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards.”

Jackman is one of the elite composers in the industry. Along with Wreck-It Ralph, he has scored films for X-Men: First Class and This Is the End, and most recently did the score for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He was also nominated for a BAFTA for his critically acclaimed score for Captain Phillips.

Variety noted it may be some time before any sign of production is seen wtih Disney currently have their hands full with films Big Hero 6 and Zootopia coming to theaters over the next two years.
