A judge in Pakistan has dismissed an attempted murder case against a 9-month-old boy on Saturday.

Toddler Mohammad Musa had charges pressed on him from authorities which accused him of attempting to kill police officers during a fight in Lahore. According to the Associated Press, the judge dropped the case when police decided they would not pursue the boy any longer.

“The father of the toddler produced him before the judge today,” defense lawyer Irfan Tarar said. “The boy was in the arms of his father when police submitted a report, stating they have dropped the charge against the boy.”

CNN reports that many in the neighborhood were arrested after allegedly throwing bricks at police who were trying to collect on a bill. Musa was fingerprinted at the jail along with his father and brother.

When police attempted to make the initial arrest of Musa, his family kept him in hiding.

The boy’s parents have not commented on their son’s release.
